(Konami has uploaded the new controls to its website.) ![]() Dash is now on R2 instead of R1 - as it is in FIFA - and L2 when defending makes the selected player press. Don't expect to carry over data from the test to the official launch version. There's cross-gen play between PS4 and PS5, and between Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S. The demo only has a limited number of teams available to play (Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Barcelona), each with a squad of 22 players. As Konami announced last year, it decided to switch game engines to Unreal for PES 2022 on next-gen. It's worth noting this demo is built in Unreal Engine. Konami warned players to expect errors, such as crashes. All aspects of the game, including gameplay mechanics, balancing, animations and graphics are all under development, Konami stressed, and have already been improved and will continue to be improved before the official launch. In a note to Eurogamer issued this morning, Konami said this demo is only a limited test version of the next PES, and its purpose is to check the quality of online matchmaking and connection to servers. There is no mention of it on PES' official social media channels, either. ![]() Compare your graphics card to the eFootball PES 2020 GPU benchmark chart and we also have an eFootball PES 2020 Frames Per Second system performance chart for you to check.Konami did not announce this demo, which is odd. The GTX 670 at the minimum spec should play PES 2020 with ease so, if you've got a weaker graphics card or processor, there is an eFootball PES 2020 demo on Steam which you can download for free to test.Īs ever, remember you can always check out how well your PC can run the eFootball PES 2020 System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarking and performance from other users. We think you can get playable frame rates with a lower-end CPU and a lower-end graphics card. With all that in mind, we still think Konami is massively over-estimating the hardware required to run PES 20. If you could get 120fps on 1080p in PES 2019, you're going to be getting near that in eFootball PES 2020. We expect Pro Evo 2020 to run pretty much exactly the same as PES 2019. ![]() Suffice to say, long-time PES fans can almost be assured of the performance they can expect from PES 2020. eFootball PES 2020's PC system specs are identical to Pro Evo 2019 aside from one thing - the install size has risen from 30GB up to 40GB. I'm sure Konami will suggest plenty has changed under the hood, but when you're faced with a near-identical set of system specs it definitely raises an eyebrow. To be honest, it looks as if the biggest change for PES this year is the name change from Pro Evolution Soccer to eFootball PES 2020.
